The city of Jülich has transferred the fulfilment of different tasks to companies organised under private law. The most important municipal subsidiaries are the Stadtwerke Jülich GmbH, the Brückenkopf-Park Jülich GmbH and the Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Jülich mbH & Co. KG.
