About us
The school of music of Jülich is a non-profit public education institute of the city of Jülich for children, adolescents and adults. The aim is to open the way to music and to encourage people to make music, to develop skills and support talents. The bases of their work are written down in the regulations for the school of music.
The school of music disposes of an own school building with specially equipped subject and lecture rooms. The lecturers of the school of music have completed studies or obtained an equivalent qualification. Most of them are also active as concert musicians.
Since the school year 2007/2008, the school of music has been cooperating with the adult education centre in a network. They cooperate at the management and administrative level upon preservation of their respectively own profiles.
