Museum and History

The exploration of the city's history as well as their documentation and mediation have in Jülich for many years a high priority.

Museum Citadel Jülich
 The Museum in the Citadel was established in 1998 and expended constantly. The presentation shows the history of the castle fortress citadel of the planning and construction of the plant in the 16th century up to the task of the fortress in the 19th century. Museum Citadel Jülich

The City Archives
The Jülich City Archive is housed in the Culture House next to the witches tower. It documents using a variety of historical documents, files, newspapers, photographs, maps and plans 450 years of Jülichs history. These materials are available for researchers and history buffs to the opening times. City Archives
